The Estee Edit

Hi Guys! I’m here to talk to you about the Estee Edit. I received a few products from Influenster, but don’t worry I’ll still give you my honest opinion. They sent me 4 (can you believe it?) products and they were Beam Team Hydrate and Glow, The Pore Vanishing Stick, Flash Illuminator in Spotlight, and The Barest Lip Color in 05 In the Buff. At first glance I was pretty impressed with the packaging. It was very cleaning modern, one may even say edgy, but I guess thats why their hashtag is #beautyattitudes. Streamlined silver tubes, or white bottles have white spray paint or blue , depending on the packaging.
So let’s get into it, First up:
Beam Team Hydrate and Glow:
Touted as skincare, Beam Team Hydrate and Glow is great as base before your makeup. It contains hyaluronic acid that gives your skin a sudden burst of moisture and pigmented pearls for an all over glow. The Estee Edit says its more a a champagne bronze, I find it to be a little more peachy, either way it blurs away imperfections and hydrates. A win-win if you ask me! I wouldn’t use it alone, personally, my skin is too bad, but if your feeling it, go for it!
The Pore Vanishing Stick
Let me start by saying I never apply make up without a primer, its sacrilege, and frankly my makeup doesn’t last with out one! I’ve used Smashbox photo finish primer forever and the Pore Vanishing stick is a great contender. It has an inner core that matches everyones skin tone and the outer core has oil absorbing powders. The stick packaging is great too, and cuts back on having another product on your fingers. The great thing is, this actually does what it says, it minimizes pores and leaves my face velvety soft. This is definitely staying in my beauty arsenal!
Flash Illuminator: Spotlight
Warning: a little goes a long way! This has got to be the thickest illuminator I have ever come across. It’s a hybrid between makeup and skin care. Again, containing hyaluronic acid to retain moisture, this is a super pigmented illuminator. The best way to use it is to mix with your foundation for an all over dewy glow, or as a traditional highlighter on the high points of your face. Just don’t over do it, or we’ll see you from space! The flash illuminator comes in 5 colors ranging from white (spotlight) to Night light (deep bronze), to everything in between. There really is something for every one. And if you feel inclined you could do your whole face in the illuminators, I feel a youtube challenge coming on! Needing so little product you’ll have this for quite a while.
The Barest Lip color: 05 In the Buff
If you’re looking for a lipstick/lip balm hybrid, you’ve found it. Infused with Muru Muru Butter and flower petal waxes this has got to be the creamiest lipstick ever. Most lipsticks dry my lips out, but not this one. I wore it all day and the moisture was insane. Because this is a balm/lipstick hybrid, you’ll have to keep reapplying, but thats not a big worry. This comes in 6 shades from the palest nude to dark berry, Estee Lauder definitely covered there bases with this range.
So overall i’m really exited about the Estee Edit, its makeup and skincare in one. I would definitely repurchase these items. From color to highlighters to moisturizing products this line has it all, who doesn’t love a good multitasker?
You can also catch my very first youtube video using these products, i’ll leave the link below!
